A New Beginning

We make plans, resolutions and have aspirations each New Year

But most times fall short of these expectations because

We fail to count the cost of our plans, resolutions and aspirations

For every expectation, there is a much needed action and input

You cannot aspire to become a doctor

If you don’t know what is required to get the needed training,

Check if you have these requirements and draft a plan for its achievement

You will never become a professional,

If you are not disciplined enough to undergo the required training

And practice to convert your training to the skills required to function in your chosen field.

As much as we all want the year to be better than the last

We must be more daring, Task ourselves better,

be more disciplined and chart the course for ourselves

If you need to upgrade your knowledge-base and skill-set

in order to achieve your aspirations for the year, please do so

If you need to terminate some relationships

to achieve your desired resolution, by all means go ahead

If you need to acquire an education, pay the price

We cannot continue on same path and arrive at a different destination

The life we are given is a “raw material”

What we make out of it determines the quality of life we live

Everyday is an opportunity

Use it wisely
