The Faith Perspective

What do you do when you have prayed, fasted and proclaimed the word
Yet the situation only changes for worse?
You turn to Gods word and nothing seems to bring succor
You associate with friends and no matter how much they try to cheer you up
Nothing they do could shake the burden on your soul
You run to the assembly of the brethren and they seem so detached
Everyone is celebrating and you cant understand why
Every joke, no matter how funny, irritates
Without peace inside, joy is lost
You cannot even enjoy being by yourself
Folks
What do you do when you have tried your best
But nothing seems to work out
When living become a struggle, dying become attractive
What do you do when your whole world come crashing down?

Friends believe me when i say this
I have been there!
I have been bruised, shattered, broken and mocked
I have experienced failure in that which i thought i have mastered
I have experienced shame, hate, deception and scorn
But one thing that pulled me through that phase of my life is FAITH

FAITH believes that no matter the situation, it will get better
No matter the hurt you feel, there is so much to live for
No matter the hate,
there are way too many people on earth with love in their heart for you
Faith believes that i may not know how or when
I am sure that my day will get brighter.
Believe me when i say no matter what you are going through
Someone out there is going through something worse

Life can be a burden sometimes
Life can hurt to the bone
But whatever you are going through
become easy to bear when you view it from

THE FAITH PERSPECTIVE

Never lose sight of yourself

Attitude is a gift
Character a parameter for distinction
But these two are virtues eroded in our generation
We cannot differentiate one from another
Because, society has brought upon us cliché, trend and modernization
Values which were once celebrated has been eroded and
In its place, what was once seen as an abnormality
is been propagated as a norm.

How did we get here?
Civilization came with its own burden
part of which is Interaction between people of different faith, culture and moral
This having its own merits and demerits impacted on our way of life.
While some people embraced it in its entirety others antagonized it till death
In the end, we had two extremities
On one side, those who abandoned their way of life for the foreign culture
On the other, those who criticized and would have nothing to do with it
Still, its effect is, and would remain
an intricate part of our daily interaction and communication.
We are not estranged to the various exhibitions of dispositions once alien to our culture
And sometimes, it is intentionally being shoved down our throat, literally.

It is difficult to define us today cos
We are quick to imbibe and accept every trend, values and cliché thrown at us
We adapt to every in vogue thought, act or presentation from mainstream media
Till we become amoebic in nature, without form or shape.

What can be done?
Try all spirit, take a stand
It is true that human is a dynamic being,
with the ability to adapt to its environment, situations and vibes
But i believe that one must not be blown to and fro by every tide
You must find that which is consistent with your nature, psyche and orientation and
Flow with it. While, being open to learning and expose on the matter

Attitude is a gift
Character a parameter for distinction.
Whatever culture you imbibe
Never lose sight of your real self!

Husband Scarcity

This may not be the best time for me to write on this because of misinterpretations, but I can no longer resist the push. "Husband Scarcity" has become one of the challenges faced by many young girls today. If you go to prayer houses, majority of the intentions are prayer for a life partner. And this calls for concern. Casting our minds back to the time of our mothers and grandmothers, was there really much of a "Husband Scarcity" problem? Or, maybe there were more men than women then, or there was an adequate corresponding numbers of both genders. I don't think so. Maybe then, the women had values and were prepared to build a home and not park into a built home. Then, once a young man comes of age and can at least feed himself and his wife, he goes out in search of a wife and the woman really appreciates him and helps him to build a future. What am I really trying to say? We created what we now see as "Husband Scarcity" for ourselves. Today, the reverse is the case. Ask an average girl to define her dream husband; you get things like "he has to be tall, handsome, fair, and rich, own a house at least, and be presentable" and then she adds "God fearing" in order not to sound so worldly. Then, check the number of girls around you and the number of men that meet that standard, and you will see the problem. You hear girls say, "I cannot suffer in my father's house and then go and start suffering with a man." What a wonderful dream! What if from the beginning, you have everything you want and there is no suffering, and later in the marriage, the table turns around, then comes suffering? Will you run away? No one prays for suffering, but it is good to start small and end big, than start big and end small. The problem is that the description majority of girls give of their ideal man is virtually the same. When 50 girls want the same kind of man and the man that fits what they want is just 1 man, and the man can only pick one. Then, what becomes of 49 others? They simply start lamenting of "Husband Scarcity". Another irony of our time is that it is hard, due to the face of our economy to find a man who is of marriage age who possesses all those things these ladies want, legally (except those involved in Internet fraud); even the number of those in Internet fraud is not enough to match all those searching for already made husbands. If you look around, majority of the ladies of substance, of good value and virtue, who are ready to build a home with a man who has prospects, are married and not complaining of husband scarcity. The easiest way to find a husband now, is to change your view of who a husband is. A husband is that man God made and then saw that it may be hard for him to really actualize his purpose for making him, without a help mate and then made the woman and gave to him, and he felt complete and fulfilled MARRIAGE IS NOT A POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAM. It is a mission of building the family of God here on earth. For those who see marriage as a way out of poverty, it is a way into bondage. Women are HOME BUILDERS, not HOME WARMERS... DON'T CONFUSE A MAN'S PATH WITH HIS DESTINY. Where he is today, may only be a route to where God has destined him to be tomorrow. Another truth is that YOU MAY BE THE ONLY FAST MEANS TO THAT HIS DESTINATION. Join in alleviating "husband scarcity". PICK UP THE RIGHT VALUES. I am not saying that you should pick anyone that comes your way and talks of marriage, not all men are husband materials. What I am saying is that you should stop setting your standard on material acquisitions or physical appearances. Look beyond the physical. WHAT MAKES A MAN WHO HE IS, IS NOT WHAT HE OWNS OR HOW HE LOOKS, IT IS WHAT HE IS MADE UP OF that which he is made of is, most times, not seen with the physical eyes, only its effects can be seen. Marriage is a permanent thing. Whatever is seen is temporal and that which is not seen is permanent.

This post is worth sharing, let it go as far as it can. #Goalgetter #TheFutureIsBright🙌 #WishOthersWell💝😍

My Bragging Right

I have an exclusive bragging right? Why?

I have the one to whom all other gods report to, Which is why he is called "The Almighty"
The one who other gods call God
The one whom kings are answerable to
The greatest of all greats
The one who spreads the heaven like a blanket
The originator of the universe
The chief architect of space

The designer of man, a perfect machine
The one who creates time but is himself timeless
The never sleeping, never dulling God
The one whose voice is like a still small voice
But sounds like the voice of many Thunders

The one who is unquestionable
Needs no permission to do his will
and is never wrong
The one who kills and makes alive
The one who can lift the poor from the dung
and make him to sit with kings
Yet makes another king to eat grass
The meek and loving father yet a consuming fire

The one who knows me while I was still an egg in my mother's ovaries
The one who directs my path through this crooked and wicked world
The one who has kept me through various accidents, without a scratch
The one who loves me unconditionally in spite of my numerous wrongs
The one who I am proud to call
"My God, My Rock, My Salvation, My Shelter, My Succor, My King,
My true Love, My Hope, The only one I need
Words are not enough to express my bragging rights about this God
The Almighty Jehovah before whom every king, creed, nation and god bows to

He is My bragging right

Trust God

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
What does it mean?
Does it mean believe in God but use your head?

I believe that trust and belief are two different things
While one is a total surrender of your will
The other is opinionated, in line with experience,
Orientation and environment
It is easy for one who seems advantaged to keep faith
But keeping faith when everything is out of place, is trust

Trust believes when there is no reason
Surrenders when there seems to be a clear understanding
And keeps faith when life seems to be a mess
Friends, believe me when i say this
There are situations in life that belief and faith alone cannot cater for
That is where trust,
(i.e a total surrender of your will, training, feelings and understanding) comes to play

Think about the 3 Hebrew boys, Shadrac, Mishac and Abednego’s statement
when faced with the fiery furnace, (summarized in 3 points)
i.                     Oh king we will not bow to your image
ii.                   We know our god will save us
iii.                  But even if he does not save us, we still would not bow

Friends, life will throw darts at you, don’t be bitter, it’s all part of living
You may fail at that which you have mastered, Life can be funny
Expectations will fail and you may face your fears daily

But understand that

Any ship that is afraid to face the waves remains stagnant
Running is actually moving against the forces unseen
(Wind resistance, friction, gravity)
The only comfortable position we are allowed is laying down (Stagnancy)
If you must get anything done, you must fight the odds

Everyone needs something to believe in
If you believe in God, surrendering your will to him will make your life easier
Imagine a son travelling with his father,
through a path he doesn’t know but keeps worrying if his father is on the right path?
Clumsy right?
That is how we are when we decide to trust our understanding
Instead of surrendering our will to him

God might not turn up when you want him to but he is never late.

Make a decision to
Trust in the Lord with all your heart by
Not leaning on your own understanding

He will show up for you, He always does!!!

Recreate your Circle

Life is a process, living and interaction a greater part of learning
The saying that no man is an island is a tale as old as time
Yet most of us fail to pay attention to the little things that makes life worth living
Which is, learning

Let me give this simple narrative
My 2year old son grew up as a boy who was irritated by poo
Whenever he poos he will cry or call your attention to it
He started school and all of a sudden, he would poo
And chill with it till one perceives its smell and checks
Upon investigation, it was discovered that his school
Being in a stage of renovation, moved children in their lower class
To his and these kids can be messy and cool
So he felt it is a norm and dropped a step lower in his learning process
We had to move him to a higher class
Now he wouldn’t even allow you put him on pampers

Truth is
Whether you believe it or not
The association and company you keep rub off on you
Most times subconsciously and in the end
You reflect the association you keep
It is said that success happens first in the realm of the mind
Before it is physical
If in your mind you are a failure, you can never succeed
But how will one break even if daily you are surrounded by
Those who tells you how impossible it is
Who and who ventured on it and failed

Believe me when i say that
For one to succeed in life you need to constantly
Evaluate and re-evaluate your association
cos in the end, that may be the first step towards your Eldorado
it is never too late to
