I wonder how we have a gem
Treat it as if it is a dung
And when its gone
We resort to desperate acts
Having a sense of "my life will end without it"
"i can give anything to get him/her back"
My question is this
what did you do when you had it?
why dint you feel this way back then?
how come you had to lose it to really appreciate its
worth?
The crazy thing is this
Many of those who go about crying for a second chance
Really do not deserve a quarter of a chance
(Why? you would ask)
The truth is
If you lost something so dear
And you have sincerely learnt your lesson
You wouldn't force yourself on it
And scare it with desperate acts and pestering
You will allow him/her to see the change
they have always desired in you
Only then will he decide if he wants you back
Desperation is an emotion worse than indifference
Because it makes one feel all you need to survive is him
And when he comes back, you go back to your normal self
Then all you will see is how ordinary he/she is
And you wonder what was it that even took me back
Why did i waste all this time begging for a second chance?
Then the ill-treatment becomes double of a quadruple
All i am saying is
Its wisdom to know the worth of what you have and
For the guys who feel you must fill every hole
A wise man told me long ago
"never throw away your pot of soup cos of
soaking-garri"
If you find an outstanding spouse
Let them know what they mean to you
Because when it all ends all we hold on to is memories
No one truly enjoys to be lonely
Every heart yearns and deserves to be Loved
Treat that Guy like your "prince charming"
Treat that lady more than she deserve
Else you will spend your days singing
Adele's "someone like you"
When others are singing
Bon Jovi's "Forever"
Your Choice, Your exclusive
right...
