Everyone desires a change
Change of job, Car, Spouse, Home, behavior and friend
The truth is this
With every change comes its own challenges
Cos what we call change might sometimes be
A dive into an unfamiliar territory/terrain,
a step into the unknown.
Believe me
No matter how promising that change seems
If you do not fully understand where you are
Why you are where you are,
Have a clear picture of where you want to be
And find out what it requires to get there,
That change you so much desire might become
A cross to bear for the rest of your life
You cannot desire a job when you enjoy sleep till 10am
You cannot desire a blissful home,
without learning to be patient with your spouse
Stop praying for a God-fearing spouse
if every Friday you status reads "up in the club"
You can't increase your savings, if you are extravagant!
You can never be seen as serious minded if you are a
talkative
No matter your level of education,
you will be outdated if you do not read
You cannot increase your earnings,
if you spend 18hrs watching African Magic
Your Spiritual Life will never increase
If you do not exercise your spirit through fasting and
prayers
You will hear less from God if you do not read his word.
Therefore,
before you make a list of things you need to change
Find out why you desire the change
Anticipate its effect on your life
Position your mind, thoughts and acts
to suit the level you intend to attain
Cos Any change that doesn't affect your
psyche, thoughts, appearance and acts
will become a day dream in the long run.
Truly, Nothing changes till you change
So if you want anything to change around you
Be the Change you Desire!
