Crazy how much responsibility we delegate to others

Our level of dependence on people, history and

How much power we relinquish to the adversary.

Have you ever thought about what it means

When you make statements like

"i don't know what came over me"

My life is a mess today cos of my ex"

"i don't know, it seems something is controlling me"

Take a time out and ponder on these statements

And what its meaning might be

Know this

God's plan for man on earth is to have dominion

Over issues of life, situations and crisis

The Bible dint say you won't be tempted

But it declares that you won't be tempted beyond that u can bear

But for you to overcome that situation

You have got to stop playing the role of a victim

Stand up on your feet and take charge

I know you decided you won't love again cos he hurt u so

But know this

There is no one i know of today

Who hasn't been through a rough relationship

The difference between those who have a happy relationship today

Is the fact that they moved beyond the hate, pain and shame

They stopped living in the past!

You cannot see joy in the present if you hold on to the past

No matter how loving or sincere the next guy is

As long as you view him through the eyes of ur ex

You will find nothing desirable in him

Try this exercise at your convenience

Walk with your face turned back

And if you are a daredevil try running

That's what you do logically when you

Hold on to the past and expect progress

Just let it all go

The hurt, the pain, the lies and the mistakes

Know this man was not created perfect

So stop beating yourself up when u make mistakes

You are only being human

The most important thing is learning from the mistakes

Know this

As long as u dwell on and beat yourself about the mistake

You are in bounds by it and is prone to make them again

In conclusion

I know you think you feel beat and foolish

Can't understand how you could have done that

And find it difficult to forgive yourself

But come on

If you don't love yourself enough to forgive u, who will?

Why some people never heal is this

They find it difficult to forgive themselves

Stop being elusive

Everyone falls

While some get up dust themselves

And take note of what they stumbled on

Others remain on the floor crying for help

While for some

Though they got up

They decided to leave the mud as a reference point

And are quick to point it out to anyone

Like hey cant u see?

If you think you were a fool for love

Who wasn't?

There is no one with love in their heart today

That is something u should even be proud of cos

It means you have the ability to love selflessly

But learn to choose who you give your love to
