Every year we plan, we aspire, dream and pray for the New
Year
While sometimes we end the year on a high -
Plans achieved and dreams attained
At other times
We are disappointed at the outcome of our dreams
We fail to think about what makes our dreams, plans and aspiration tangible
and what makes it a daydream
Friends
I am an ardent believer in God
I believe in the miraculous
But I also believe that God is not magician
No matter your pastors prophecy
All God promised to bless is “the work of your hands”
We go astray cos we do not study Gods manual for life, The
Bible
Christ fed over 5,000 people not with space and air
But by multiplying 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes
The woman of zerephath was sustained by a cruise of flour
IKings 17
The widow of the prophet whose husband was in debt was saved
by what?
Her cruise of oil and as many empty jars she could gather cos
According to the word of the prophet
The oil dint run dry till all the empty jars she could
gather was filled
Meaning that the magnitude of her breakthrough was dependent
on her input 2Kings 4
Friends if your dream is not first
- Feasible: Achievable as a result of your own input
- Workable: Can be handled
- Lucid: Expressed Clearly and easily understood
- Convincing and Communicable
If your dreams and aspirations lack the above elements
Wake up from your dream and Plan
You cannot dream to be a professor without first having a
First Degree
Cannot plan to associate with the high and mighty
while
being confined in your one room apartment at Iyana-Ipaja
You cannot expand your reach without consciously growing
your network
You cannot become knowledgeable without reading
You cannot become a political office holder
without becoming
an active member of a party
Whatever you aim to achieve this year
Find out if it is first Feasible. If not, prepare for it
Secondly is it workable? If not, Fine tune it
Thirdly, is it Lucid?
The world will give way for one who
knows where he is going
Finally are you convinced about your dreams?
If you are then
you will communicate it
Wish you a prosperous year ahead!
Happy New year Friends
