Experience is a dish
Served to all who have sojourned through Life
Some favorable, others harsh and tough
Leading to certain ideology and living trait
The handling of which determines your status
Like every other adult
I have had my fair share of
Pain and pleasure,
Joy and sadness
Tears and laughter
Love and hate.
Have you ever decided to Love
Only to have your Love thrown in the Bin?
Shown care to discover it's not noticed?
Shown concern and it turns to scorn
Soon you become a laughing stock
A subject of mockery and
A reference point to stupidity and foolishness
All because of Love
Such that
You ask if Love really exist or
Just a recurrent theory in
Romantic novels and movies
At such times you take succor in
Daydreams and wishful thoughts
Which only adds to your dilemma and desperation
Fear inevitable, uncertainty a daily companion
You become suspicious of every move
Avoid those seeking companionship and
Resort to isolation.
Believe this or not
An isolated man is desperately wicked
Without Love, care and concern
He is selfish and callous
He becomes a monster
(I Have been there, so i know)
Know this
Those who left your life,
Left for Good cos
If you relax and look inwards
They were never a part of it.
And every mistake you have made
Should make you a better person not a monster
If your experience is unfair
Keep believing in faith
Reach out
Be open and Positive in your thoughts
Then
Someday, somehow in places unexpected
LOVE WILL SURELY FIND
YOU AGAIN.....
